Our story

Picking a material shouldn't start with a four-figure database licence.

I'm Johnny Mobley. I started building systems for other people in 2000, when I was 16, and I've been doing it ever since. Along the way I automated most of my own work, and the tools I built for myself became these companies. Each one runs on rules I wrote down, not on paid AI calls, which is why it can cost so little.

Early in a design, the questions are rough ones: which common alloys are light and stiff enough, what a carbon-epoxy layup comes out to, and whether a ply will hold under the loads you have in mind. I built MobleyMetal to answer those from published reference values and textbook formulas, on one page.

Every number is labelled for what it is: typical handbook values for comparison, a rule-of-mixtures estimate, or a failure index computed from strengths you supply. None of it is a certified data sheet, and MobleyMetal doesn't make or test metal.
